CHIMI MILD - An intense herby flavour, hints of garlic and slightest tingle from the jalapeños. Great for marinades, lighter dishes like fish and for those of you who prefer to stay clear of spicy dishes.
CHIMI ORIGINAL - A much more intense flavour, you really taste the jalapeños with a nice amount of heat that slowly drifts away.
CHIMI HOT - A great amount of heat that lingers there for a while but still packed full of flavour. You can still appreciate your dish while adding a great zing.
All sauces are plant based, with no added sugar or additional preservatives.

'Team Chimi' are a married couple who are pursuing their passion for food into a small business. Jacques - a South African who loves a good Braai (BBQ) - was introduced to the flavours of South America by his Colombian wife Karen, and started to refine his own condiment sauces to accompany his BBQs.
Karen and Jacques became known amongst friends and family for their BBQ’s and brunches, with their sauces always a main topic of conversation. After refining their recipes over the past 10 years, they founded CHIMIlove to share their condiments with the world. Their aim is to encourage people to eat well and be healthy, to have fun cooking and to add flavour to their dishes.
Their condiments are all plant-based, and are extremely versatile as a sauce or a marinade. They pay homage to classic recipes, whilst not being afraid to add their own twist.
When founding CHIMI, Karen & Jacques were determined to remain conscious of the need to take care of the planet with every decision they made. Thanks to this, all products are packed sustainably, and they also donate a portion of the profits from every jar to #justonetree to plant trees around the world.
