Porcini Mushrooms Antipasto

These finely chopped and sauteed Porcini mushrooms make a delicious topping for bruschetta or any toasted bread, can be added to pizza or sandwiches for an extra Mediterranean flavour. Great also as an accompaniment to fish and meat dishes.

Our Producer: Casarecci di Calabria

Our favourite producer in Calabria, Southern Italy is 'Casarecci di Calabria'. We love both the taste of their superior quality products and their beautiful packaging.

This family business, established in 1998, is located in the Sila Mountains. Like many of our producers, Casarecci di Calabria use old fashioned recipes to create traditional products, once the staples of any Southern Italian family and now sought after delicacies. Their entire range is produced without adding any preservatives or colours.

Ingredients: Porcini mushrooms (boletus edulis) 85%, extra virgin olive oil, sunflower oil, garlic, parsley, black pepper, wine vinegar (sulphites), salt, natural flavours.
